Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL) wishes to engage Indian Nationals, who meet with the requirements specified herein, for the post of Junior Executive‐Technical at various stations, on a fixed‐term contract, for a period of three years extendable by two years OR till such time AIATSL has the contract for ground handling functions at International Airports, and to maintain a waitlist of all categories, for the same. The actual reservation will be on post – based Roster, depending on the cadre strength Prevalent at the time of appointment and the requirement in each reserved category.

Vacancy details:

Junior Executive –Technical (Ground Handling Functions): 97 (SC-14,ST-07,OBC-26, GEN-50 )

Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical /Electrical / Automobile / Production / Industrial Engineering / Electronics with minimum average of 55% marks . Fluency in English is essential, fluency in Hindi and local language desirable

Note: Candidates who are appearing/appeared for their last term before 31st July’2011 may also apply.They shall be considered provisionally eligible on the basis of average marks obtained in previous terms. Appointment of such candidates would be subject to presentation of final mark sheet at the time of GD / Interview.

All Inclusive Monthly Emoluments: 1st Year : Rs 22,000/‐ ; 2nd Year: Rs 25,000/‐; 3rd Year: Rs 28,000/‐ AND ; 4th Year: Rs.32,000&5th Year: Rs.34,000/‐, subject to satisfactory performance.

Other facilities: Other benefits as applicable such as PF, Leaves (PL‐21 days, C/L‐7 days,S/L‐7 days),Reimbursement of Mediclaim policy for self and family, Leave encashment .

Qualifications :- Essential:- A ) Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/ Automobile/ Production/ Industrial Engineering / Electronics.

B) Heavy Motor vehicle valid driving license to be produced max within twelve months from the date of joining.

Preferable : Candidates with Two years experience in Ground Handling related activities with Post Graduate Diploma /Degree in Management / Industrial Engineering

Written Test Centres : Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin.

The Company is in the process of modernizing and updating its activities with IT enabled services. The selected candidates might be placed for extensive on-the-job and class room training in the Companys’ establishments during the period of appointment.

Age Limit: UPPER AGE LIMIT: (As on 01/09/2011): General: 25 years OBC: 28 years, SC/ST:30 years.Relaxation in Age for Ex-Servicemen as per Government guidelines, for all the above positions.

Selection Procedure Initial Screening of applications, Written Test comprising of General Aptitude & Professional Knowledge /Subject Knowledge and Personal Interview,if selected. The Applicants will have to appear for Written Test Followed by Personal Interview,if selected. The applicants should be capable of leading a team of skilled and unskilled staff for providing all ground handling support to the aircraft will be responsible for all ground handling related activities including operation and maintenance of sophisticated Ground Handling Equipment .
