Kakatiya University establishment in 1976 several steps were taken for the overall development of the infrastructure facilities in order to cater to the requirements of both faculty, staff, students and research scholars. The vast area of 650 acres of land is being used effectively and efficiently for the developmental activities from the available sources and funds from the UGC, State Government and other sources. The various departments on the campus are well accommodated in different buildings of their own with lawns. Qualification:
Hindi, Law, Library Science, Public Administration, Biotechnology, Chemistry,
Geology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Sericulture and Zoology
1)
Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55%
of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the
Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have
cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or
similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
3) Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification of the Regulations-
2009 of the UGC, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree
through a process of admission, registration, course work and external
evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and procedures for award
of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree), Rlgulations-2009 and so adopted by the University,
shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
4) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in
disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted subject to the conditions
stipulated in the Relgulations-2009 in Clause.3.3.3.
Commerce&Business Management :
A) 1) Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at

B) 1) A Master’s Degree with 55% marks in Business Management / Administration
/ in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full
time / three year part-time PGDM declared equivalent and accredited by AICTE /
UGC.
OR
First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant / Cost and
works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.
2) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API)
based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in the
Regulations.
Engineering & Technology :
1) Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the appropriate branch of Engineering
(Engg.) & Technology (Tech.).
2) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters programmes in
disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted subject to the conditions
stipulated in the Regulations in Clause.3.3.3.
3) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API)
based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in the
Regulations-2009 of UGC shall be a mandatory requirement.
Pharmacy :
1) Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm).
2) Registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act.
3) First Class Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of specialization in
Pharmacy.
4) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared
the eligibility test (NET/SLET/SET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or
similar test accredited by the UGC.
5) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API)
based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in the
Regulations shall be a mandatory requirement.
Informatics :
For candidates from Teaching and Industry & Profession: First Class MCA
Degree/M. Sc. (Computer Science)/M. Sc. (Information Technology) with NET
qualification
OR
First Class B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering/
Technology with GATE qualification of minimum 80% percentile score.
