ORISSA POWER TRANSMISSION CORPORATION LIMITED (OPTCL), one of the largest Transmission Utility in the country was incorporated in March 2004 under the Companies Act, 1956 as a company wholly owned by the Government of Orissa to undertake the business of transmission and wheeling of electricity in the State. The registered office of the Company is situated at Bhubaneswar, the capital of the State of Orissa. Its projects and field units are spread all over the State. OPTCL became fully opeartional with effect from 9th June 2005 consequent upon issue of Orissa Electricity Reform (Transfer of Transmission and Related Activities) Scheme, 2005 under the provisions of Electricity Act, 2003 and the Orissa Reforms Act, 1995 by the State Government for transfer and vesting of transmission related activities of GRIDCO with OPTCL. Recruitment of Management Trainees
OPTCL, a State Transmission Utility invites applications for recruitment of Management
Trainee in the following disciplines:
1.
Management Trainee in Electrical : 150 posts
2.
Management Trainee in Finance : 11 posts
Management Trainee (Electrical): Degree in Electrical
Engineering/ Electrical&Electronic
Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a
recognized University/ Institution or passing of Section-A&B of IE (India)
in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For SC / ST
candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.
Candidates appearing the final examination may also apply.
Their cases will, however, be considered subject to their producing the pass
certificate with requisite percentage of marks at the time of interview.
Management Trainee (Finance):- Passed the final examination
of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost and Works
Accountants of India.
A
pass in Oriya Language Test equivalent to M.E. standard is essential.
Alternatively the candidate has to pass the requisite language test in Oriya
within one year of appointment.
